When the best dudes in Rock ‘n Roll ask you for pitches for a the Music Video for their title track, you do everything you can to make it happen. This was originally based off their album art, and they let me run from there. We shot all the band stuff in one lovely day in Oceanside at Cinematic Arts & Sound (very cool place). The footage turned out so beautiful, since I had a good friend Dan Coronado shooting it on a Red Epic Dragon with Zeiss CP2’s from Redefine Rentals.
All I had to do was put it together and make some tweaky effects (my favorite). The band is a rare balance of kindness, with extreme attention to detail, and I’m always inspired by it. Love getting to be around guys who have been at it for 20 years, and are doing it so smartly. If you thought this was weird, just wait until you see the vertical version! (Debuting on Spotify)
