The Global Immersion Project began with a question: What would the world look like if the Church took seriously our call to be peacemakers? In pursuit of the answer, we immersed ourselves into conflicts around the globe. What we discovered is that peacemaking is not just a good idea. It’s the mission of God and the vocation of God’s people. Rather than a lofty ideal, peacemaking is central to our faith. It’s an actual way of life and the very adventure that we’ve been saved into. Our journey led us to another question: Who are peacemakers and what do they do? Having studied alongside academic experts, walked with peacemaking practitioners all over the world and lived it out on the streets of our neighborhoods, we’ve developed a four-practice framework for Everyday Peacemaking.
